PAVILHÃO COLMEIA: ESTUDO EXPLORATÓRIO SOBRE CYBER-PHYSICAL SYSTEMS NA GRADUAÇÃO EM ARQUITETURA

This article reports a undergraduate experiment, adressed to integrate usual Civil Engineering research techniques on Architectural design. These techniques include (i) parametric modeling in Python programming language, (ii) digital fabrication; (iii) numerical-computational analysis via the Finite Element Method and (iv) experimental analysis aided by destructive testing of the proposed structural system. Recent literature defines this integration on Architecture, Engineering and Manufacturind as Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). This paper reports an exploratory research on this field.
