CULTURAL RESCUE IN MARECHAL HERMES ARTISTIC ACTIVATIONS IN THE CARIOCA SUBURB
This essay explores the cultural memories of Marechal Hermes, focusing on the train station founded in 1912. The author discusses historical and contemporary aspects influencing their artistic perception during graduation, proposing artistic activation initiatives such as restoring protected monuments, establishing a cultural facility at the station, and community integration via social networks. These proposals aim to provide accessible local educational solutions, emphasizing the importance of cultural preservation. Grounded in analyses of these spaces, the study contributes to understanding the intersection of architecture, art, politics, heritage education, and collective memory.
