QUANDO “O TEXTO É MUITO LERDO”: UM ESTUDO SOBRE REGISTRO VISUAL DO PROCESSO DE PRODUÇÃO DE REPRESENTAÇÕES GRÁFICAS DE SÍNTESE
The production of Graphic Representations for Synthesis (GRS) in the classroom aims to foster significant learning and collaborative knowledge building. In this activity, it is important to involve students in the evaluation of their own development process. The first step towards this evaluation is to record RGS production process. In this study, we aimed to verify whether the timeline technique is adequate to produce a synchronous record of RGS production process. In order to achieve such, eighteen design postgraduate students applied the technique to record RGS production process. The analysis of the timelines produced, together with students’ comments, revealed that rapporteus were able to record the whole process synchronously, according to their own point of view, as well as represent drawing and dialogue aspects. However, rapporteurs still faced some difficulties during the process, which enabled us to generate requirements for the refinement of the visual recording technique.
