TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS AND DESCRIPTIVE GEOMETRY TEACHING: METAVERSE POSSIBILITIES

The article describes the importance of Descriptive Geometry studying, especially for engineering, architecture and design students, highlighting the use of innovative technologies. Based on a literature narrative review, guidelines are presented for proposing alternatives that stimulate teaching and learning processes in the context of the use of digital tools. Specifically, the research proposes the use of the metaverse as a learning environment for fundamental concepts of Descriptive Geometry. Some initial experiments are presented together with partial results. Finally, directions for continuing the research and possible developments based on the experiments carried out are indicated.
